Michael Copenhaver and Ella Dorband took over BuDu’s timing business and the Westside Mountain Bike series in 2023. They look forward to continuing to time and present some of the best events in the Pacific Northwest.

Michael runs the Bell Lap Productions show. He grew up in Georgia, studied economics in college, and owned a bike shop on Whidbey Island for almost a decade. He ran for a long time before taking up cycling and now races mountain, cyclocross, and track.
Ella Dorband helps out when she isn’t working her full time job as a technical project manager. She races cyclocross, cross country mountain bike, and sometimes enduro and track. Previously she was a Co-captain of Breakfast Racing Team, ride leader with Rapha Seattle, and a Board Member at The Bikery. She has probably tried to give you a mimosa handup at some point.
