Swan Creek
Date, Time, and Location
The Swan Creek cross country mountain bike race race will be Sunday, January 28, 2024. Navigate to the new Swan Creek MTB and Dog Park Parking lot, just past Lister Elementary School in Tacoma Washington.
9:00am: All Cat 3 (Beginner), 2 laps ~55-90 minutes, Cat 3 U12, 1 lap ~35+ minutes
10:30am: All Cat 1 (Expert) and Singlespeed, 4 laps ~85-115 minutes
12:00pm: All Cat 2 (Sport), Clydesdale/Athena, and Fat Bike, 3 laps ~70-100 minutes
Course
Due to a closed section on Hustle and Flow, the course is a little different this year. It can be previewed here.
Please note two things:
This course briefly runs the wrong way on a one-way trail and cannot be safely ridden when all trails are open.
This course is still subject to change if there are additional closures or if the closed section reopens.

Race Ready Program
We're excited to announce our partnership with The Line Experience for the 2024 season!
The Line has developed a Race Ready mountain bike program for anyone who is mountain bike curious and wants to give the sport and/or racing a try.
This 3-race training and prep package is perfect for beginner bikers and first-time racers, with special pricing for Jr. cyclists.
The program will focus on the first early-season races of the series and includes race registration for Swan Creek, as well as Soaring Eagle and Henry’s Ridge, as part of the program.
Land Recognition
Swan Creek Park is on the traditional lands of the Puyallup people, who continue to live in the area.
